November 10, 2020 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks News Release
Danbury forwards Jake Hewitt and Valentino Passarelli were named Honorable Mentions in the NAHL's Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week list for November 2-8.
Hewitt's two goals in the Jr. Hat Tricks' lone game of the week sealed the deal, giving Danbury the lead and insurance in a 4-2 win over the Northeast Generals. The game was Hewitt's season debut after recovering from a groin injury that kept him out of action for the first month of the season.
Passarelli buried the second goal of the game, knotting up the score in the middle of a four-goal onslaught for Danbury in the second period. He now has two goals and three assists through six games this campaign.
Northeast's Aidan Curran was named the East Division's First Star of the Week, registering five points in three games. The full list can be found here.
This week marked the first appearance by Hewitt and Passarelli on the Stars of the Week list this season.
