Stampede host Indiana Thursday night on $1 Beer Night at the Arena

The Stampede (10-2-5) return to action this Thursday when the Indiana Ice come to town for the final time during the regular season at 7:05 PM. It is also the return of $1 beer night! Thanks to SMG and the Sioux Falls Arena, Fans 21 and older can enjoy Bud Light, Coors Light or Miller Light for just $1! The Stampede defeated the Ice 6-2 in Sioux Falls on November 7th. The Stampede will then travel to Cedar Rapids on Friday to face the Rough Riders. Game time Friday is also 7:05 PM. The Herd enter the weekend in second place in the West Division with 25 points.

Last Thursday, the Stampede rallied from a late 2-1 deficit, but fell 3-2 to Sioux City in a shootout. Dominic Zombo and Mike Voran scored in the game for the Herd while Lino Chimienti stopped 33 of 35 shots in goal. He remains the top goalie the league at 5-0-3, with a 1.82 GAA and a.923 save percentage.

SCORE ONE FOR LIFE BLOOD DRIVE A SUCCESS!

Thanks to all who helped make the Stampede's "Score One For Life" blood drive another success! The blood drive brought in nearly 90 donors to the Community Blood Bank, an outstanding number during the holiday's! Thanks to the Avera McKennan Fitness Center, Cold Stone Creamery and KTWB 101.9-FM for their assistance on this event!

HOLIDAY FAMILY FEAST SET FOR DEC. 10TH AT PIZZA RANCH

Join the Stampede players for the "Holiday Family Feast" at the Pizza Ranch on West 41st Street and on East Brian Street in Tea on Thursday, December 10th from 6PM to 8 PM. The Family Feast is a benefit for the area "Toys For Tots."

Fans are encouraged to bring in new unwrapped gifts for the Toys for Tots program. Every patron bringing in a gift donation will receive two (2) Stampede game tickets to an upcoming game and 10% off a delicious Pizza Ranch buffet!

Players will be on hand at both locations, waiting on tables and collecting gifts. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the players and collect autographs throughout the night! All the gifts collected will be given to the Sioux Falls Jaycees and "Toys For Tots" program.

STAMPEDE MERCHANDISE SALE GOING ON IN DECEMBER!

With the holiday's just around the corner it's time to start thinking about a special gift for that big Stampede fan in your family! The sale is valid only for gifts purchased at the Sioux Falls Arena on game nights. Arena doors open at 6:15 PM each of the four games listed.

VANEK, SABRES FACE MAPLE LEAFS TONIGHT ON VERSUS

Former Stampede star Thomas Vanek and the Buffalo Sabres travel to Toronto tonight to face the Maple Leafs at 6 PM (CST) on VERSUS-TV (Midcontinent channel 71).

Vanek is third on the Sabres in scoring with 15 points (8g, 7a) in 21 games. Vanek recorded a goal and an assist on Saturday in the Sabres 5-1 victory over Chad LaRose and the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Sabres have won two straight games and are 14-7-2 and in second place in the Northeast Division, just one point behind Boston for first.
