Hens To Host Another Select-A-Seat Event

TOLEDO - The Toledo Mud Hens will be hosting a Select-A-Seat event on Saturday, April 4 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Fifth Third Field.

Director of Season Ticket Sales & Service, Thomas Townley said, "We are very excited to host a second 'Select-A-Seat' event at Fifth Third Field this Saturday. The first one went extremely well and we have decided to host another unique experience for fans to come down to the ballpark, tour the Mud Hens' Clubhouse and pick out their seats for the 2009 season, as we are quickly approaching Opening Day on April 16th."

Select-A-Seat is a free event to give potential season ticket package buyers the opportunity to visit Fifth Third Field and select their seats for the 2009 season. Packages are available for as low as $8.00 per game and the Hens have 18, 36, 54 and 72 game plans available as well as flexible custom plans.

All ticket packages include Opening Day.

Each fan will be taken on a one-on-one guided tour of Fifth Third Field in order to pick out their favorite seat. A Mud Hen "Ticket Coach" will escort the fan and answer any questions to ensure fans get the plan that best fits their needs.

Fans who take part in the Select-A-Seat event will also be given a behind-the-scenes tour of the Mud Hens' Clubhouse, Larry Parrish's office, and the dugout.

Fans will also get their first look at the new color ribbon boards and the new video board in leftfield.

All attendees will be entered to win great gifts including four (4) tickets to a 2009 Detroit Tigers game, an autographed team baseball, and the chance to throw out the first pitch at an upcoming Mud Hens' home game.

This event is for prospective NEW season ticket holders, however, current season ticket holders are also welcome to come down to improve their seat locations.

Fans that would like to participate in the Select-A-Seat event should enter through the Swamp Shop on Washington Street.

Opening Day at Fifth Third Field is Thursday, April 16 at 5:30 p.m. versus the Columbus Clippers.
