Toledo Mud Hens News Release
Toledo returns home for the final home stand of 2008. The Mud Hens will welcome the Richmond Braves for a four-game series and then the Columbus Clippers for a three-game series.
Toledo Mud Hens Promotions for August 23-29
Saturday, August 23 (Richmond, 1st pitch at 7:00 PM - Gates open at 5:30) - The Mud Hens welcome the Richmond Braves to town to open the final home stand of the 2008 season. The Hens have "Gone Batty" with their game used bat and equipment auction. There will also be an International League Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony pre-game. Toledo's Frank Gilhooley Sr. and Gene Cook will be inducted. Stay after the game for Post-Game Fireworks. The game can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230 AM and will also be televised live on BCSN.
Sunday, August 24 (Richmond, 1st pitch at 6:00 PM - Gates open at 5:00) - Game two between the Hens and Braves will feature Applebee's Kids Run the bases. Every Sunday is Autograph Sunday from 5:15-5:5:45, and stick around for Fireworks after the game. The contest can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230 AM and seen live on BCSN.
Monday, August 25 (Richmond, 1st Pitch at 7:00 PM - Gates open at 6:00) - Game three of the four game set with Richmond will feature Pre-Game Karaoke in the Coop-a-Cabana. The game can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230 AM and seen live on BCSN.
Tuesday, August 26 (Richmond, 1st Pitch at 7:00 PM - Gates open at 6:00) -The first 1,500 fans to the series finale will receive a baseball courtesy of Microsoft Small Business. The contest between the Hens and the Braves can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230 AM and seen live on BCSN.
Wednesday, August 27 (Columbus, 1st Pitch at 7:00 PM - Gates open at 6:00) - The Mud Hens open the final home series of 2008 against the Columbus Clippers. QUICK CHANGE - featured on America's Got Talent and Oprah - will be at Fifth Third Field. The contest between the Hens and the Clippers can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230 AM and seen live on BCSN.
Thursday, August 28 (Columbus, 1st Pitch at 7:00 PM - Gates open at 6:00) - Game two of the three game set with Columbus will feature an appearance from Ronald McDonald. The game can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230 AM and seen live on BCSN.
Friday, August 29 (Columbus, 1st Pitch at 7:00 PM - Gates open at 6:00) -Toledo's final home game of the season will be capped off with Fan Appreciation Night. The first 5,000 fans will receive a Toledo Mud Hens calendar. The final regular season game can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230 AM and seen live on BCSN.
