ROBSTOWN, Texas â The Coastal Bend Aviators won the second game of a three-game series to the Fort Worth Cats 10-9 in 10 innings. They will play the rubber match Sunday night.
Kevin Henry hit a walk off homerun in the tenth inning with two outs. Carlos Figueroa was at first base after walking.
The Aviators get on the board in the bottom of the second on an RBI single from Angel Rohena. Chris Judkins also scored on the play on a fielding error by Carlos Adolfo. Matt Mann hit an RBI single followed by Kenny Hansley's two run triple. Edwin Maldonado drove in Hansely making the score 6-4.
Judkins drove in Jack Joffrion on a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning.
Mann struck out but reached base on a wild pitch by Juan Figueroa with two outs in the ninth inning. After the wild pitch, Ken Lup threw the ball into right field sending Mann to third base. Mann scored when right fielder Terrell Merriman slipped trying to recover the ball in the corner.
Jordan Foster hit an RBI triple scoring Allen to give the Cats the 9-8 led in the top of the tenth inning.
Shawn Morgan (3-0) picked up the win in relief for the Coastal Bend Aviators, Juan Figueroa (2-1) took the loss in relief for the Fort Worth Cats
