Henhawk Added To Active Roster, Potter Moved To Practice Squad

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Knighthawks Owner and General Manager Curt Styres announced today that forward Jason Henhawk has been moved to the 23-man roster. In a related move, the Knighthawks placed forward Andrew Potter on the practice squad.

Henhawk, 29, is in his second season with the Knighthawks and sixth season in the NLL, having played in Buffalo, Columbus, Montreal and Toronto. Last season, he set career highs in games played (14), goals (18), assists (20) and points (38), while in Rochester.

Potter, 21, is in his third season in the NLL and in his second with the Knighthawks. The St. Catharines, Ontario, native has played in two games this season and has seven loose balls. On October 31, 2009, Potter was acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Colorado Mammoth. He was originally the Knighthawks' first-round selection (14th overall) in the 2007 NLL Entry Draft.

Rochester hosts the Buffalo Bandits on Saturday, March 27th at 7:35 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena. The game will be broadcast live on The Zone 94.1 FM and thezone941.com. Fans can also catch all the action on the NLL.com.
