JOLIET, IL - The JackHammers and the United Way are teaming up for a great cause the opening week of the season. Two dollars from every group ticket purchased for the JackHammers opening week home stand (May 28th - June 3rd) will be donated back to the United Way.
"This is a great opportunity to catch a JackHammers game and to also contribute to a great and worthy cause," said JackHammer Group Sales Executive Aaron Pineda. "The opening home stand is filled with fantastic promotions and great giveaways, making Silver Cross Field a must stop destination."
Group ticket prices are broken down into three categories: $9 (20-99), $8 (100-299) and $7 (300 and over). Tickets are available by calling the JackHammers box office at (815) 726-2255. The JackHammers welcome in the two newest entries into the Northern League in the Lake County Fielders (5/28-5/30) and Rockford RiverHawks (5/31-6/3) for the seven game stretch.

LOOSE GRAVEL: The Joliet JackHammers open the 2010 season on May 21st against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in North Dakota. The Home Opener is Friday, May 28th at 7:10 p.m. against the Lake County Fielders, one of two Northern League expansion teams. Season tickets, group outings and suites are available now.
