Heatwave sign And 1 phenom Sante Gayle

Fresno, CA. Greg Chambers, GM for the ABA Fresno Heatwave announced the signing of And 1 phenom Sante Gayle, aka "757". Gayle, a 6'6" 220 lb G/F has been wowing crowds across the country. He has an unbelievable 46" vertical - and averages 22ppg, 12rpg and 5apg. Born and raised in Stockton CA, Gayle was a high school standout at Tokay in Lodi, CA and left Stockton to attend college in Sheraton, WY for a year and later returned to Stockton and attended Delta College. He joined the And 1 tour in 2003 and is currently involved with YPAWorld, Inc., an inner city youth organization out of Oakland, CA. He currently serves as a youth coordinator at the Crossroad of the Valley Church. "Fresno is close to home and I look forward to being a part of this team and bringing great basketball to Fresno," said Gayle.

"We are very excited about Sante and his abilities and skills on the floor," added Heatwave owner Reggie Davis. "He, like all of the signees of the Heatwave, brings great character and integrity to the team as a whole and his high wire theatrics are sure to bring excitement to Heatwave fans." Davis also has some family ties in the Fresno area and will feel right at home with the Heatwave.
