HEATHeat Try for World Record on Safety Night

Tuesday, July 5, 2016 Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL's Calgary Flames, announce that the final guaranteed date will see the team, and team's fans attempt to set the world record for most people wearing safety vests on the first Safety Night at Stockton Arena on Saturday, February 4.

However the night is also meant to bring awareness to the people who help keep our community, our cars and our job sites safe. To help the City of Stockton to set the world record number of people wearing safety vests, the team will hand out Heat safety vests to the first 2,000 fans in the arena. Safety workers who own their own vests are encouraged to wear their own representing the thousands in our community who work the dangerous jobs to help improve our community.

The Heat have announced all six of the guaranteed dates including Opening Night on Saturday, October 15, Hot Pink 2 beginning Friday, November 4 and carrying over to the following day, Frankie Bobblehead Night to the first 500 kids 12-years-old and younger on Saturday, December 3 and Teddy Bear Toss taking place Saturday, January 21. The rest of the schedule, along with the opponents of these six contests, will be announced later this summer in conjunction with the American Hockey League.
