Heat to hold tryout

Fayetteville, NC - The Fayetteville HEAT, of the National Indoor Football League, is holding its final tryouts Saturday, February 5, 2005 at The Sports Warehouse, 10930 Granite Street, in Charlotte, NC. The Fayetteville HEATs inaugural season will be played at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Prospective players will need to bring the following items: workout clothes, shoes for outdoors and a pair of turf shoes or sneakers for inside work. All players will be tested in the following: 40-yard dash, vertical leap, 225 bench and shuttle run. In addition, players will run and be evaluated on agility and skill drills.
All interested players are encouraged to pre-register by February 4 at the HEAT offices, located inside the historic Prince Charles Hotel at 450 Hay Street; pre-registration is $45, $55 the day of. Players are should include a biography or personal statistics with their payment.
