Heat Fall to Marlies in Game Two

Abbotsford, BC - Abbotsford dropped Game 2 of their Western Conference Semifinals series 5-1 to the Toronto Marlies and will head home with the best-of-seven tied at a game apiece. The loss was the first for the Heat in 12 games and also ended goalie Danny Taylor's personal win streak at nine.

Abbotsford's lone goal came off the stick of Jon Rheault who notched his third of the post-season.

Taylor started in net for the Heat for the fifth straight game and made 22 saves on 26 shots as the Marlies picked up an empty net goal to finish the game's scoring.

The Western Conference Semifinals will now shift to Abbotsford for Game 3, 4 and 5. Game 3's puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM PDT on Saturday May 5th while Game 4 and 5 will both have a 7:00 PM PDT faceoff on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 8th and 9th respectively.
