Hawkins joins Pats

Albany, NY - April 17, 2007 - The Patroons most recent USBL transaction includes the addition of Shawn Hawkins, a 6'6" Forward from Long Beach State. Shawn graduated from Long Beach State in 2006, earning All-Big West Second Team by averaging12.5 ppg. as a senior. Hawkins went on to play briefly in the Austrian First Division and then played in a prestigious Southern California Summer Pro League. Before joining the USBL's Albany Patroons, Hawkins played with the CBA's 2006-07 Pittsburgh Xplosion.
