Wenatchee had its 9-game win streak snapped last night by Ridgefield.

Corvallis is 39-12 in WCL play, and 18-6 in the second half. Last night's victory at Bellingham not only concluded a sweep of the Bells at Joe Martin Field, it clinched a second-half title as well as home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Knights are 47-12 overall, and go for their 40th league win this evening. With a 40th victory, the Knights would tie the 2016 Victoria HarbourCats for the most wins in a WCL regular season.

Corvallis ace Tevita Gerber of Dixie State (pictured, above) leads the league in wins with 7 after the southpaw earned another victory at Port Angeles. Tevita lowered his ERA to 2.20 (second lowest in the league) and struck out 14 Lefties this past Monday night at Civic Field.

We hope to see you tonight as the Corvallis Knights host the Wenatchee AppleSox at OSU's Goss Stadium on Heresco Chiropractic Baseball Giveaway Night. Also, make sure to get your Pioneer Fireworks Night tickets for Saturday night. They are going fast! To purchase seats, click here.
