Danbury Hat Tricks News Release

DANBURY - When the Hat Tricks need a big save, they call on their goaltender. When Danbury needs to save financially, they turn to Ameriprise Financial. The Danbury Hat Tricks and Ameriprise Financial have formed a partnership for the 2019-20 season to bring fans the "Save of the Game."

In addition to presenting video highlights of the best save of each Hat Tricks game, Ameriprise will be sponsoring giveaways and providing financial wellness tips to Danbury hockey fans throughout the 2019-20 season.

"We saw it as a great opportunity to jump on the bandwagon," said Ameriprise financial advisor Derek Packett. "I'm at the rink all the time, I'm a men's league goalie, my son plays goalie...I thought, sweet!"

Packett, in addition to being a financial advisor for 20 years, is a passionate hockey fan. An avid supporter of the Boston Bruins, Packett proudly touts his fandom through his son (named Cam, as in Neely) and dog (named Tuukka, as in Rask).

Ameriprise Financial has been helping people with their financial wellness, debt management and investment dating back to 1894. They focus on providing people the tools and resources necessary to prepare for life changes and set goals for retirement.
