HarbourCats Announce New Ticketing Options for 2020

Victoria, BC - Fresh on the heels of the announcement last week of a new ticketing partner - Select Your Tickets - and the onset of single game ticket sales for the 2020 season on Monday, the Victoria HarbourCats today are unveiling a number of new ticket options that provide fans plenty of affordable options to enjoy West Coast League baseball at Wilson's Group Stadium next summer.

This includes a new Right Field Reserved section with reduced pricing from regular reserved seating, expanded 10-game Flex Pack options, the introduction of $10 Tuesdays and the return of the always popular Save-on-Foods Vouchers and Forces Fridays that provide substantial savings on General Admission seating.

"The HarbourCats take pride in providing some of the most affordable summertime sports entertainment in town and these new options for 2020 give fans even more flexibility in that regard," said Christian J. Stewart, HarbourCats Assistant General Manager, Ticketing and Media. "We are reducing ticket prices in one of our sections, increasing the amount of savings fans can enjoy with our Save-on-Foods voucher and adding, for the first time ever, $10 Tuesdays, which we feel will be a popular way for fans to enjoy our brand of sports entertainment at an incredibly great price."

"We feel these changes, plus the return of our popular Forces Fridays, improved group discounts for groups of 11-19 people, Peninsula Co-op discount, our standard child and senior discounts and the benefits of a fantastic 2020 schedule, will put us on track to establish yet another West Coast League attendance record this summer."

Details on 2020 ticketing options are provided below:

Right Field Reserved Seating

Section 6 along the first base line is now called Right Field Reserved and provides fans with the opportunity to secure a reserved seat for $2 less than regular Premium Reserved pricing and only $2 more than the cost of a regular priced $15 General Admission ticket. If fans want the security of a reserved seat at a cheaper price than normal, or without the hassle of getting to the park early to secure a decent General Admission seat, then the Right Field Reserved option is for them. $17 per ticket for most games, $19 for fireworks nights, opening night and playoffs.

Expanded Flex-Pack Options

Fans can now purchase 10-Game Flex packs specifically for the sections they want to sit in and enjoy a savings of $1.50 per ticket ($3.50 per ticket for premium games) when they do so. The ever popular General Admission Flex Pack ($135) and Premium Reserve Flex Pack ($175) are back, with Premium Reserve vouchers eligible for seating in Sections 7-9 and 11-12, the blue bucket seating along the baselines. Fans wishing to sit in the Grandstand behind home plate (Section 10) can now purchase a Grandstand Reserved Flex Pack ($195) and fans wishing to save even more on reserved seating can purchase a Right Field Reserve Flex Pack (Section 6) for $155.

Flex pack vouchers are eligible for all regular season games, including opening night and fireworks (subject to availability), but may not be used for playoffs. Fans may also upgrade to a higher level seating area for just a $2 upgrade fee per ticket, per level of upgrade. For example a fan with a General Admission voucher (a $13.50 value) who wishes to upgrade to the Grandstand (a $19.50 value), would pay a $6 upgrade fee to do so.

$10 Tuesdays

New for 2020, the HarbourCats are introducing three $10 Tuesday nights that provide fans with savings of anywhere from $5 to $9 per ticket! On June 9 vs. the Port Angeles Lefties, June 16 vs. the Highline Bears and July 28 vs. the Kelowna Falcons, fans can purchase any General Admission, Right Field Reserved or Premium Reserved ticket (Sections 6-9 and 11-12) for just $10! This promotion is NOT in effect on Tuesday June 30 (fireworks) or Tuesday August 4 (Jersey Off Our Backs Night).

Save-on-Food General Admission Vouchers

The HarbourCats fantastic partners at Save-on-Foods are back on board in 2020 with the ever popular General Admission voucher and in 2020, fans save even more than before, as the $10 voucher is $5 less than the cost of a regular priced General Admission ticket ($15). And because the Save-on-Foods vouchers are also eligible for premium games, fans who attend Opening Night and Fireworks nights will save $7 over the regular cost on those nights. A great deal from a great partner! Save-on-Foods vouchers will be available in all local stores starting in May of 2020. Note: Save-on-Foods vouchers are not available for 2020 playoff games.

Forces Fridays

Galaxy Motors is returning to support the Forces Friday promotion whereby military members, first responders (police, fire, ambulance) and their families can get General Admission tickets for just $7.50, a 50% savings over the regular General Admission price. Forces Friday tickets will be available in 2020 for games on June 5 (opener), June 19, July 10, July 17 and July 24. Tickets are available in advance at the HarbourCats offices, the Select Your Tickets box office, or the Wilson's Group Stadium box office starting one-hour before game time. Appropriate ID required for verification. Fans can also contact the HarbourCats at 778-265-0327 for a special promo code to order tickets on-line.

Group Discount Changes

In the past, groups of 20 people or more would be eligible for a $2 discount per ticket for any HarbourCats game. In 2020 that will remain the same, however groups of 10-19 people, will now be provided a discount of $1.50 per ticket. Group ticket sales are available by calling the HarbourCats offices at 778-265-0327.

Senior and Child Discounts

Seniors 60 and over and Children 12 and under continue to receive $1 off any ticketed regular admission price. Children 3 and up require a ticket.

Peninsula Co-Op Member Discount

Also returning in 2020 is our Peninsula Co-op member discount where any fan who is a member of Peninsula Co-Op can enjoy a $2 discount off any ticket in our General Admission, Right Field Reserved, Premium Reserved and Grandstand Reserved Seating areas. Main office, Select Your Tickets box office or walk-up ticket sales only on game days. Simply present your Co-Op ID at the box office to enjoy your discount!

Season tickets, 10-game flex packs and single game tickets for all 2020 HarbourCats games are now on sale at the HarbourCats offices at 1814 Vancouver Street, and at the Select Your Tickets box office at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre, 1925 Blanshard Street. The HarbourCats begin the 2020 season with pre-season games against the Seattle Studs on May 30 and 31, 2020 and the BCPBL All-Stars on June 3. The home opener is on Friday June 5 against the Ridgefield Raptors, with the first fireworks night on Saturday June 6. All games are at 6:35 PM.

2020 Tickets Now On Sale!

Season tickets, 10-Game Flex Packs and single game tickets are now on sale for the 2020 season. If you would like to be part of the exciting 2020 HarbourCats season, consider a season ticket membership. 27 league games plus all exhibition and non-league games (at least 5 additional games anticipated for 2020) can be yours at a substantial savings over walk-up prices. Seats are currently available in all sections in 2020, including the NEW Right Field Reserved area, which is the reserved seating area of Section 6 down the first baseline.
