Buffalo Beauts News Release

BUFFALO - It is a Buffalo homecoming for veteran forward Jordan Juron, who has signed with the Buffalo Beauts for her fourth season in the NWHL. The contract signing was announced tonight on "NWHL Open Ice," the league's talk show on Twitch.

After joining the Boston Pride in January last season, Juron now comes back to Buffalo, where she played both in 2017-18 and 2018-19. The 5-foot-8 forward had a goal and two assists in eight regular-season games and scored a goal in the Pride's Isobel Cup semifinal victory, providing strong depth on a very dangerous roster.

"I couldn't be more excited to play for Buffalo again, and I am happy to call this city home now for good," said Juron. "With so much uncertainty these days, if I can give young players someone to cheer for and give them hope for their future in the sport of hockey, then that's a win for me. I can't wait to battle with this team, and we hope to bring the Isobel Cup back to our fans."

Juron played 141 games at Boston University from 2012-2016. Scoring 15 goals and adding 25 assists for 40 points for the Terriers.

"Jordan is a trusted leader and competitor," said Buffalo GM Nate Oliver. "When she played for us previously, she was considered a bit of a secret weapon for the team. We have a young team this season, and Jordan is the type of player who sets the best kind of example. She has played with and against the best of the best. We are very pleased to have Jordan back in a Beauts uniform."
