Beauts Post Second Straight Shutout, Win Home Opener 7-0

October 13, 2018 - BUFFALO, N.Y. - Six different goal scorers and a 22-save shutout by Shannon Szabados propelled the Buffalo Beauts to a 7-0 win on Saturday at Harborcenter, their second consecutive victory over the Connecticut Whale. The victory was the second straight shutout for the Beauts after they defeated the Whale 4-0 on the road on Oct. 7. Beauts Shut out Whale in Season Opener

October 7, 2018 - STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Buffalo Beauts kicked off their 2018-19 NWHL season in dominant fashion today, shutting out the Connecticut Whale 4-0 at Terry Conners Ice Rink in Connecticut. The Beauts were led by a pair of last season's rookie standouts in Maddie Elia and Hayley Scamurra, who each scored two goals in the win.
