
Handful of Upsets Highlight 2015 U.S. Open Cup Second Round

CHICAGO - Division III USL clubs entered the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup's Second Round mostly holding serve Wednesday night with 16 of the 21 professional sides advancing to Third Round play.
However, there was a quintet of upsets, as the PDL's Jersey Express and Ventura County Fusion, USASA's PSA Elite and Chula Vista FC and NPSL's Chattanooga FC defeated clubs from higher divisions to join the other professional sides in next week's Third Round, which will take place on May 27.
The unveiling of the Fourth Round matchups and hosting scenarios will take place Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 7 p.m. ET on 120Sports.com. Fans can also follow all this year's U.S. Open Cup action on Twitter @OpenCup.
