JUPITER, Fla. - Anfernee Seymour delivered a walk-off RBI double to lift the Jupiter Hammerheads over the Fort Myers Miracle, 4-3, in game one of their doubleheader on Wednesday night at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. Jupiter also took game two, 3-2.

In game one, Mark Contreras came through with an RBI single to tie the game in the top of the seventh, but Fort Myers left the bases loaded. It was the first earned run that Jupiter closer Lukas Schiraldi allowed this season in over 16 innings. Reilly Hovis came on to record the final out of the frame.

In the bottom of the frame, Seymour delivered his double with one out, scoring pinch runner Aaron Knapp from first base.

Taylor Grzelakowski got the scoring started with a two-out solo homer in the top of the first. The game, however, was delayed for over an hour prior to the bottom of the first inning. As a result, the Miracle were forced to pull their starter Tyler Wells before he threw a pitch.

Jupiter scored two in the bottom of the first on a two-run homer by Joe Dunand against Miracle left-hander Kevin Marnon. They added another in the second inning. Fort Myers drew within one with an unearned run in the fourth.

Logan Lombana (2-1) suffered the loss, despite allowing just one run in 3.1 innings and striking out four. Hovis (2-1) earned the win for the Hammerheads.

In game two, all of the runs were scored in the fourth inning. Travis Blankenhorn broke the scoreless tie with an RBI triple, his third of the season. Jared Foster later delivered a two-out RBI single to put the Miracle up, 2-0.

The Hammerheads responded immediately, as the first three batters reached in the bottom of the frame. Riley Mahan brought home two with a double to tie the game. With two out, Aaron Knapp hit an RBI single that ended up being the game winner.

Sam Perez (2-1) started for Jupiter and picked up the win. He went six innings and allowed two runs on five hits. Ryan Mason (2-2) suffered the loss. Kyle Keller tallied his fourth save with a perfect top of the seventh inning.

The four-game series concludes on Thursday morning at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. Left-hander Charlie Barnes (1-3) will start for the Miracle. First pitch is 10:30 a.m.
