
Hamilton/Werndl Reunite For Riptide Radio Broadcast

SAN DIEGO â XTRA Sports 690 on-air personalities Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton and Bill Werndl will be handling the radio duties for this weekend's game between the San Diego Riptide (1-2) and the Arkansas Twisters (2-1). Kickoff is at 5:00 pm and will be on KPOP 1360 AM.
The duo was the radio broadcasters for the San Diego Chargers games in the late 90s. This will be the first time they will do a football game together on the radio since then.
Hamilton hosts the afternoon drive-time show (4-8pm) weekdays on XTRA. While Werndl is the co-host of "The Loose Canons" radio show from 9am-1pm with Steve Hartman.
The Riptide return home to the San Diego Sports Arena on Saturday, May 4 when they take on the Louisville Fire at 7pm. Tickets start at just $5 for exciting, high-scoring Arena Football action and can be purchased at any TicketMaster location, the Sports Arena box office, or ticketmaster.com.
