Halloween Celebration on Friday Night
October 24, 2007 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs have announced several Halloween events to take place at Friday night's game against the Mississippi RiverKings. Come to CenturyTel Center dressed up for the adult costume contest and stay after the game for the Halloween jersey auction.
The team will be wearing specialty Halloween jerseys sponsored by Shreveport Mack Truck Sales on Friday night, and after the game they could be yours! The specialty game-worn Halloween Mudbugs jerseys from each player will be auctioned off to the fans at the conclusion of the game against the RiverKings.
Don't forget to come to the game in costume, because judges will be searching the crowd of Mudbugs fans for the best adult Halloween costume in the building. Once the finalists are selected, the final judging will take place on the ice during the first intermission. A cash prize will be awarded to the winner of the costume contest.
Also after the game will be our first public skate of the 07-08 CHL season. Passes for the skate are $6.00 and can be purchased at the Mudbugs information table near the CenturyTel Center 's main entrance until the end of the second period. Skate rental is included in the cost, but skaters can bring their own skates to use as well.
