Hague and Kolesar Join Chicago Wolves

GLENVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Wolves announced Sunday that defenseman Nic Hague and forward Keegan Kolesar have been assigned to the team by the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights. Both prospects helped the Wolves win the 2018 Central Division title.

The 19-year-old Hague appeared in three of Vegas' first four exhibition games and produced two goals and two assists. Selected by the Golden Knights in the second round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Hague made his professional debut with the Wolves on April 7 and contributed 1 assist in 5 regular-season games. He also appeared in three Calder Cup Playoff games for Chicago.

The 21-year-old Kolesar also played in three Vegas exhibitions and delivered one goal, one assist and 15 hits. The 6-foot-2, 223-pound forward made his professional debut last year with the Wolves and amassed 5 goals and 8 assists in 44 regular-season games. Kolesar added 1 goal in three postseason games.

Hague and Kolesar join the Wolves for Day 2 of training camp on Monday at Triphahn Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates. The 35 players in camp will participate in the first of several scrimmages this weekend. All practices at Triphahn are open to the public.

The Wolves host their 25th anniversary season home opener on Saturday, Oct. 13, against the Grand Rapids Griffins at Allstate Arena.
