
Gwizzlies To Host The Atlanta Vision At Their Dr. King Holiday Ballgame

On January 21 at Fort Valley State University,a Historical Black College,the ABA Georgia Gwizzlies will host the ABA Atlanta Vision.This will be the first ever Dr. Martin Luther King Jr National Holiday in Middle Georgia.Dr. King son,Martin Luther King III is on the Gwizzlies advisory board and a staunch pro basketball fan.The ABA Georgia Gwizzlies and the NBA Atlanta Hawks were the first, and both organizations were approved by the King family to host a game honoring Dr. King.Atlanta new recording artist "Scotty P" will pefrom at halftime at the 3:35 ballgame."We want to welcome Middle Georgia and the world to Fort Valley as we celebrate Dr. King legacy" says Vanassa Turner,the Gwizzlies Spokesperson and the Gwizzlies organization NBA representative.
