January 15, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) announced today that Vincent Bernier, co-owner of the Quebec Kebekwa, will be the guest on "Inside the ABA" heard weekly at 1pm Eastern on Voice America Sports. Quebec City will be the host of the 2008 ABA Championship Playoffs and host Robby Kendall and Vincent will discuss the plans for this exciting event. This year marks the 400th Birthday of this fabulous Canadian city and the ABA playoffs are a part of the tremendous festivities happening all year.
If you are planning a vacation, you might want to include Quebec City as one of your options. It is a very special place. The Mayor of Quebec City, the Tourism Department and the Ministry are all working closely with the Kebekwa to make the playoffs a major success. The show can be heard by visiting the ABA website, www.abalive.com and clicking the Voice America Sports banner. It can also be heard on Saturday at 3pm Eastern by again going to the ABA website and clicking the ABA All Access Radio banner. For more information, visit www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
