Gwinnett, Syracuse Reschedule Postponed Games

The Gwinnett Braves will resume their suspended game against the Syracuse Chiefs (Washington Nationals), originally played on Saturday, May 8, on Thursday, June 17 at Coolray Field at 6:05 p.m. The contest will begin in the top of the 5th inning, G-Braves leading 4-2, and the teams will play nine innings or until a winner is determined. Approximately 30 minutes following the suspended game's completion, the teams will play the regularly scheduled matchup. Game two will be shortened to a seven-inning contest (or until a winner is determined).

The game postponed on Sunday, May 9 due to snow will be made up in a doubleheader on Friday, June 18 at Coolray Field beginning at 6:05 p.m. Gwinnett and Syracuse will play two, seven-inning games with approximately 30 minutes between the end of game one and the beginning of game two.

Per International League rules, Syracuse will be the home team for the first game on each date.

On both dates, the VIP gate will open at 4:45 p.m. and the general admission gates at 5:05 p.m.
