Cedar Rapids Rampage News Release
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA: Cedar Rapids Rampage forward Gordy Gurson, who has already racked up MASL honors as Player of the Month, Player of the Week and multiple trips to the Team of the Week, is the first recipient of the league's new Goal of the Week award.
The league selected the top goals of the week and then let the fans choose via a poll on maslsoccer.com. Gurson's goal was a leaping side volley past Tacoma Stars goalkeeper Danny Waltman on January 13 in Tacoma.
"Kid Dynamite" extended his point scoring streak to 30 straight games this weekend as the first place Rampage won two more games.
