
Groenestege named Player of the Week

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Doug Groenestege of the Richmond Renegades, has been named the Sher-wood Hockey "Player of the Week" for the past week.
Groenestege, a Stratford, Ontario native, went 2-0 on the week with a 2.00 goals against average and a 95.2 save percentage. He recorded a 5-1 win over Huntsville and a 5-3 win over Jacksonville. He currently has a 9-4-1 record, a 3.27 goals against average and a 91.6 save percentage.
