All-Star Preview: As a part of the new Griffins Amateur Hockey League, there will be a Youth Hockey Skills Competition during intermissions of Griffins home games on Wednesday and Thursday nights leading up to the 2004 Pepsi AHL All-Star Classic (Feb. 8-9 at Van Andel Arena). Youth hockey players will be on the ice during the first intermission participating in a display of one of the seven elements that will comprise the AHL All-Star Skills Competition on Feb. 8.

Parent Club Night: The Griffins will celebrate their parent club, the Detroit Red Wings, by wearing authentic Red Wings jerseys (including the winged wheel crest) during the game. The jerseys will be auctioned to fans after the game, with proceeds benefiting the Williams Syndrome Association and Heart of Hockeytown charities.
Meet Doug Brown: Fans can meet Doug Brown, a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Detroit Red Wings, courtesy of Kodiak Construction. He will sign autographs from 6:30 to 7:20 p.m.
Giveaway: The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a Detroit Red Wings window decal.
First Intermission: A GRAHA Squirt house team will scrimmage.
Throw for Dough: Throughout the night, fans can purchase red balls for $1 and green balls for $3 apiece. At the conclusion of the game, a target will be placed at center ice. Fans can throw the balls at the target for a chance to win up to $5,000. Proceeds from the sale of the balls will go to the Grand Valley State University men's soccer team.
Post-Game Autographs: Six Griffins players will sign autographs in the stands for 15 minutes after the game.
