
Greyhounds Work Out IFL/af2 Vet

Ohio Valley Greyhounds News Release
WHEELING, WV â The Ohio Valley Greyhounds announce the workout of the former IFL/AF2 All-Star David Johnson and an unnamed AF2 Wr/Db.
Johnson is a 6'2", 200 pound native of Michigan and graduated of Central Michigan. Johnson is a three-time perennial All-Star with the Green Bay Bombers of the defunct IFL. David was a member of the back- to â back Bombers championship teams.
DJ played the 2001 season with the Lincoln Lightning of AF2. Johnson finished the year with 24 yds rushing, 83 yds on 12 receptions with 2 TD's. Defensively 7 interceptions; 153 return yards with 2 returned for TD's. 86 tackles, two fumble returns for TD's and 3 kick returns for 31 yards. Davis was the 2001 Lincoln Lightning Defensive MVP. DJ is represented by Next Step Sports Management- Patrick Pfeiffer.
Also scheduled for the Monday workout is a Wr/Db, who is currently playing with an AF2 team and has scored two TD's.
Former Ohio Valley Greyhound EJ Burt has 5 sacks in two games with the Cape Fear Wildcats. Burt's college and Greyhound team-mate Jason Flemming was released by the Wildcats Thursday
Former Smash Kicker Bruce Reinecker was released last week by the NY Dragons, Bruce has opened communication with the Winston Salem Energy of the NIFL.
New York's affiliate AF2 team have contacted the Greyhounds about Defensive Linemen Dejuan Goulde, saying the parent club have expressed interest in the Hounds leading sacker with 3 solo.
