
Greyhounds sign Albea, bring back equipment managers

WHEELING, WV â The Ohio Valley Greyhounds of the United Indoor Football Assocation are proud to announce the signing of Troy Albea from Appalachian State.
Albea, a 6'0" 215 lb. running back/wide receiver, was a member of the Indianapolis Colts in 2001 and 2002. In 2000, Albea was 8th in the Southern Conference in receptions per game; 8th in receiving yards per game; and 6th in all-purpose yards per contest. Troy caught 45 passes for the season, racking up 682 yards receiving for eight scores. He was also versatile as a runner, carrying the ball 24 times for 209 yards.
Albea will be used primarily as a running back in Mark Bonar's offense.
The Greyhounds would also like to announce the return of their equipment managers, BeeBee Marinacci and Jerome Bonomo. BeeBee joined the Greyhounds as equipment czar in 2003 and will be accompanied by Bonomo, who has assisted with equipment duties since the 2002 season.
The Hounds will practice tomorrow night at 7:00 pm in WesBanco Arena for the final time before taking on Tennessee Valley Saturday night. The Greyhounds and Raptors will hook up for a 7:30 pm tilt, with the first 2000 fans receiving the 12-inch "Lucky Foam Bone" courtesy of Main Street Bank.
