Toronto, ON - The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Robin Lehner of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds is the CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending November 22. Lehner backstopped the Hounds to three wins earning his first two career shutouts posting an impressive goals-against-average of 0.670 and a save percentage of.974.
Lehner was perfect last Wednesday night making 27 saves to earn his first career OHL shutout blanking the Sudbury Wolves 7-0 as third star of the game. It did not take him long to earn his second career shutout as he made 25 saves and stopped the Sarnia Sting on all seven of their power play opportunities as second star of a 2-0 win on Saturday.
