"AM 1600 WKKX has been a great supporter and promoter of local sports teams at all levels and we are very excited to be able to provide our Greyhound games to our loyal Greyhound fans on their station" said team owner Lou Stein. "WKKX has a passion for all sports and sports promotions, the station is locally owned, and has a demonstrated commitment to sports reporting throughout the Ohio Valley", continued Stein.

Other programming will include the United Indoor Football League's syndicated weekly "Two Minute Drill" which will offer an around the league analysis of the past week's games and the upcoming games.

"For those folks out of the WKKX listening area, we are planning on streaming the game live on the WKKX website at www.wkkx.com and on the Official Ohio Valley Greyhound Website at www.ovhounds.com" said Stein. "We are really pleased that people from anywhere in the world will be able to listen to the Greyhound games live. Our players are from all over the country and they are thrilled that their families will be able to follow the Hounds throughout the season, Stein added. We are looking to bring back the "Kennel Krazies" and put them in the "Boneyard" at the South end of the stadium just above the visitor's bench. WKKX and the Hounds are also planning some surprises that will include ticket give-a-ways and other fun promotions throughout the season."

All of the home games this year will take place on Saturday night at WesBanco Arena with a 7:05 kick-off. The away games are all on Saturday night except for the Friday April 13th game whose time has not yet been announced.

Training camp for the Greyhounds begins March 9, 2007. The Greyhounds 9th season opens Saturday March 24, 2006 with a Home Opener against the Lexington Horsemen at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling with kickoff at 7:00 pm.

The Greyhound organization has announced that at all home games this year, all Greyhound ticket holders will be welcome Free of Charge to attend a Collegiate or High School Indoor Lacrosse match which will take place from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at WesBanco Arena prior to each Hound home game. Lacrosse has become the fastest growing sport in the country today and like indoor football is a phenomenal spectator sport. Speed, skill, strength and toughness are just a few of the qualities that make this sport the fastest game on two feet. Indoor Lacrosse is filled with amazing passes, bruising hits, outstanding goaltending, stunning passing, and poetic grace and agility.

After the Lacrosse game ends at 5:30, fans can view the Greyhounds and the opposing team goes through their warm-ups prior to kick-off. Also the Arena vestibule will feature activities for the entire family including top-notch, live entertainment from around the region, a pre-game pep rally, fun play activities for the kids, face painting for adults & children, photo-ops with Blitz the Mascot and other special guests, and lots of unannounced surprises prior to the 7:00 pm Greyhounds kick-off.
