Grey Cup 2002 Unveils Theme & Updates Party Plans

Edmonton, Alberta – The Grey Cup 2002 Organizing Committee invites media to an availability on Wednesday, September 25th at 11:00 a.m. in the Green and Gold room at Commonwealth stadium.

Bill Gardiner, Chairman of the 2002 Grey Cup Organizing Committee, Dr. Bob Westbury, Chairman of Western Canada Lottery Corporation and Rick LeLacheur, member of the Grey Cup Organizing Committee will be available for comment. This availability will give media the opportunity to preview the theme and advertising campaign for Grey Cup 2002 as well as receive an update on ticket sales and plans. LOTTO 6/49 will also reveal their plans for a Grey Cup themed bonus draw.

Photo opportunities will be abundant. A reception/lunch will follow the media conference.

Having hosted Grey Cup in 1984 and 1997, this is the 3rd time that Edmonton has hosted this great Canadian tradition. November 24, 2002 also marks the 90th Anniversary of Grey Cup.
