Grand Rapids Gold Acquire NBA Veteran Lance Stephenson for 2021-22 NBA G League Season

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Grand Rapids Gold, the NBA G League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets, have acquired NBA veteran Lance Stephenson to its roster for the 2021-22 NBA G League season. Stephenson, who last appeared in the NBA during the 2018-19 season, was the Grand Rapids Gold's first round pick during the 2021 NBA G League Draft.

"Stephenson has been a formidable player and fan-favorite during each of the nine seasons he's played in the NBA," shared Steve Jbara, president of the Grand Rapids Gold. "This is a big win for our team and for our fans, and it further solidifies our efforts to elevate all aspects of our basketball operations during the upcoming season."

Lance Stephenson played 68 games with the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2018-19 season, averaging 7.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. He is also well-known for his time with the Indianapolis Pacers and the Charlotte Hornets.
