Sussex Skyhawks News Release
With less then a week until opening day, the Skyhawks have made a change to their 2010 roster, releasing infielder Andy Gonzalez.
Gonzalez, a former Florida Marlin, was selected in the fifth round of the 2001 MBL draft by the Chicago White Sox. After spending seven seasons with the White Sox organization, Gonzalez joined the Cleveland Indians in 2008.
Gonzalez currently suffers from a torn meniscus, which will keep him off the field for the remainder of the 2010 Can-Am season.
