WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Goldeyes made several transactions in advance of Thursday's series-opener at Fargo-Moorhead.

The Goldeyes signed infielder JJ Gould and right-handed pitcher Pete Perez. Veteran infielder Tucker Nathans has been activated from the Disabled List. Shortstop Andrew Sohn has been placed on the Inactive List, retroactive to July 4th. Right-handed pitcher JC Sulbaran has been placed on the Disabled List, retroactive to July 3rd. The Goldeyes also placed right-handed pitcher Calvin Drummond on irrevocable waivers for the purpose of granting his release.

Gould hit .237 in 30 games earlier this season for the St. Paul Saints with two home runs and 11 RBI.
