OTTAWA - Another week, another USL Team of the Week selection for one of our Ottawa Fury FC players, this time it is striker Steevan Dos Santos that earned his time in the spotlight following a two-goal performance against Toronto FC II mid-way through week 12.

Now in his second season with Fury FC, the dynamic forward is well known to Ottawa fans. It was therefore no surprises to see him light up the scoreboard on Wednesday when he converted two of his three shots on target for his first brace of the season. His presence has been valuable to Fury FC's increased opportunity creation up top and is sure to continue to give headaches to opponents as he finds his form.

Steevan Dos Santos led from the front for the Fury FC in 2017, ending up with a record-breaking season. He was awarded with the Fury FC Top Scorer of the Year Award for his efforts that season. Dos Santos scored 12 times in all competition, setting a club record for most goals in the regular season with 10. The Cape Verdean also equaled Tom Heinemann's 2015 club record for most goals in a season for Fury FC. His goal against Richmond Kickers from the half-way line was the longest goal scored in the club's history. This goal also secured Fury FC's first win in the USL on that April 2017 evening.

Fury FC will take advantage of a bye this week to recharge and prepare for a lengthy road stint that will see them visit North Carolina FC (June 13), Atlanta United 2 (June 16) and New York Red Bulls II (June 24), before returning to TD Place for the return leg of the Canadian Championship qualifying round on June 27th. Tickets for all Fury FC matches are available at OttawaFuryFC.com, by calling 613.232.6767 X1 or in person at The Box Office at TD Place.
