GLENDALE, CO - The Glendale Raptors were named the Major League Rugby Team of the Week the League announced today. Glendale improved to 7-0 and secured the number one seed in the inaugural MLR Championship Series with a 33-11 win over Seattle.

The Seawolves scored 11 points in the early going and held Glendale scoreless for the opening 35 minutes, but it was not enough to tame the Raptors' high-powered attack. Outside centre Chad London poached a ball out of the back of a Seawolves ruck and took it in for a long try to kick off a 33-point Glendale run.

This is the second time the Raptors have been named Team of the Week in Major League Rugby's inaugural season.
