CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Gladiators today waived WR KENDRICK MOSLEY. In addition, the Gladiators were awarded WR RON JOHNSON last week off waivers from the Orlando Predators and signed former Baltimore Ravens WR RANDY HYMES to the practice squad.

Johnson (6.03, 222, Minnesota) began the 2008 season with the Orlando Predators, before being waived on May 27, 2008. In 13 games this season with Orlando, Johnson recorded 103 catches for 965 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Hymes (6.03, 220, Grambling State) signed with the Gladiators to the practice squad on May 29, 2008. The former Grambling State Tiger spent four years with the Baltimore Ravens, appearing in 37 career games, catching 43 passes for 578 yards and four touchdowns. In 2005, he appeared in all 16 regular season games with Baltimore.

Mosley (6.02, 210, Western Michigan) originally signed with the Gladiators on February 10, 2008. He was placed on injured reserve on February 19, 2008 and did not appear in a game this season with the Gladiators.

Saturday, June 7 is "Buck Night" with the Gladiators. Doors at The Q open at 5:30 p.m. for the 7:05 p.m. kickoff with the Chicago Rush and all fans will enjoy $1 hot dogs and $1 soft drinks. The Gladiators close out the regular season with a June 21 matchup with the in-state rival Columbus Destroyers. The first 10,000 fans will receive an exclusive Bernie Kosar bobblehead.
