Gladiators trade for Sale Key

LAS VEGAS, NV, September 13, 2006 - The Las Vegas Gladiators acquired WR/LB Sale Key from the Utah Blaze it was announced today by Head Coach Danton Barto.
In exchange for Key, Las Vegas sent a future consideration to Utah.
"I am excited to get Sale back," said Barto. "He is a tough receiver and he is going to be an impact player in the Arena Football League."
Key (6'4", 225, Idaho State) is a big wide receiver and linebacker who has spent one year in the AFL. He saw limited action for the Blaze in an injury-plagued 2006 season with injuries to his ankle and shoulder. He recorded six tackles and returned one missed field goal for 12 yards. Key went to training camp in 2005 with the Cincinnati Bengals before playing for Coach Barto at Memphis of af2, helping lead the Xplorers to the 2005 ArenaCup championship.
