CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Gladiators and Good Karma Broadcasting are pleased to announce that ESPN 850 WKNR, ESPN 1540 KNR2 AND ESPNCLEVELAND.COM will be the official radio home of the Gladiators for the 2011 season. The announcement was made live on the air during Afternoon R&R with Michael Reghi and Kenny Roda by ESPN Cleveland and Gladiators General Manager Cory Howerton.

The partnership continues from the Gladiators inaugural season in 2008, when games were also heard on ESPN 850 WKNR and ESPN 1540 KNR2.

"Coming back home with ESPN Cleveland was extremely important for us but more importantly - our fans - in 2011," Howerton said. "Our relationship in 2008 was tremendous and the support we received from the community was amazing. We want to get back to that level, and ESPN Cleveland was a key piece to our success."

"ESPN Cleveland is proud to support local sports teams and franchises in this community, and there is nothing our fans are more passionate about than football," Williams said.

The majority of games will air on either ESPN 850 WKNR or ESPN 1540 KNR2. In addition, ALL games will air on ESPNCleveland.com and will be available for fans with the free ESPN Radio application on the iPhone, Blackberry and Android smart phones.

In addition to broadcasting the games, the station will air a short pre-game and postgame show during each broadcast.

The Gladiators 2011 season will kick off on the road against the defending ArenaBowl XXIII Champion Spokane Shock. The Gladiators home opener is set for SATURDAY, APRIL 3 versus the CHICAGO RUSH. Kickoff is set for 4:00 PM at Quicken Loans Arena. Season, group and mini-plan packages are available now! For more information, visit www.clevelandgladiators.com or call 216.685.9000 today!
