Gladiators Conclude Training Camp, Trim Roster

CLEVELAND - At the conclusion of training camp, the Cleveland Gladiators announced the re-assignment (release) of the following players on Saturday; DL Daniel Catalano, OL Frank Knights, WR Vince Lalonde, LB Shawn Lemon, DB Thyrell Lewis, DB Joe Lopez, DB Keon Perry, OL Armand Poole and OL Shawn Wright.

In addition, the Gladiators placed DB Ray Fisher on the physically unable to perform list and DB Dustin Bell, DL Pete Gardner, OL Ron Haver and WR Joe Horn on injured reserve. Players on injured reserve in the Arena Football League are eligible to return after four weeks on the list. The team also activated WR Dominick Goodman from physically unable to perform, to the active roster.

The Gladiators roster is now set at 24 as they begin preparations for WEEK 1 of the AFL regular season.

The Cleveland Gladiators are part of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena organization and also owned by a group led by Cavaliers Majority Owner and Quicken Loans Founder and Chairman Dan Gilbert. The group also owns and operates the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League playing at Quicken Loans Arena and the Canton Charge of the NBA Development League playing in nearby Canton, Ohio at the Canton Civic Center.
