
Giants Acquire 2003-Born Goaltender Brett Mirwald from Moose Jaw

Vancouver, B.C. - General Manager Barclay Parneta announced today that the Vancouver Giants have acquired 2003-born goaltender Brett Mirwald (Saskatoon, SK) from the Moose Jaw Warriors. In return, the Vancouver Giants are sending a conditional sixth-round pick in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft back to Moose Jaw.
Mirwald, a left-catching goaltender, checks in at 6'1" and 195 pounds. In 19 career games (all with Moose Jaw), Mirwald has a 3.75 GAA and a record of 4-12-1. He also had a 7-7-0 record with a 2.95 GAA this past season for the MJHL's Waywayseecappo Wolverines.
