
Georgia Gwizzlies Name New Associate Head Coach

Macon, GA. The ABA Georgia Gwizzlies have named Zacharis Parimeros as the Associate Head Coach after serving last season as Assistant Coach/Strength and Conditioning Coach with Ilysiakos Athens (GRE-A2) in Greece.
Parimeros has spent almost 15 years in consulting and training basketball players on advancing performance skills and athleticism. After serving as Head Coach for the Greek Fire Academy (2000-2004), Parimeros was appointed as Basketball's Athletic Coordinator in the Athens 2004 Summer Olympic Games.
Parimeros, a New York native, earned his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from Queen's College C.U.N.Y. in 1988 and received his M.S. Ed in Physical Education from the same institution in 1990. Parimeros and his wife Titiana and son Emmanuel have been residing in Athens, Greece.
