Georgia Force News Release
FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Georgia Force today signed former Atlanta Falcons DL Michael Bozeman.
Bozeman, 6-2, 290 pounds, enters his first season in the AFL after spending the entire 2006 NFL season on the Atlanta Falcons practice squad and attending Falcons training camp in 2007. He was originally signed by the Falcons as a rookie free agent from the University of Mississippi on May 2, 2006. While at Mississippi he was a recipient of the J. Richard Price Courage and Compassion Award as the rising senior lineman who, in the opinion of his coaches, demonstrated extraordinary courage and unusual compassion in their dedication to the team and to Ole Miss.
"Michael is a young, powerful and talented pass rusher who possesses the ability to play either defensive end or defensive tackle," said defensive coordinator Bob Kronenberg. "We have had the pleasure of watching Bozeman for the past two years during his stint with the Falcons and have been impressed with his abilities and determination. We are looking forward to seeing him compete during training camp come February."
Force season tickets are currently on sale, starting at $9 a game. For ticket information, please contact the Force ticket sales office at 1-888-55-FORCE.
