Flint Generals News Release

FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals look to re-establish a winning form on home ice tomorrow (Thursday) night when they host the defending Turner Cup Champion Fort Wayne Komets at 7 pm at Perani Arena and Event Center.

It's the first visit by the Komets to Flint this season and the Generals are looking for a measure of revenge following a tough loss on the opening weekend of the season. Last year, three of the four wins by the Generals over the Komets were on home ice. Fort Wayne has dropped two of their last three games, while the Generals have played better in recent games including a 4-1 win over Bloomington. The Blue and Gold are in the midst of a string that will see them play six straight weeks of three-games-in-three nights.

Thursday night is 'Ladies Hockey in Heels Night' and there will be a pre-game hockey 101 session followed by a meet the team immediately after the game. It's also the 4 for $44 Thursday Family Promotion where fans can get 4 end-zone tickets, 4 hotdogs and 4 44-ounce Coca-Cola Products for just $44. Tickets can be purchased at Perani Arena and Event Center Ticketmaster location. Fans can also purchase tickets by calling 744-0580 or 742-9422.

It's the first game of the week for the Generals who continue on Friday night with a visit to Kalamazoo to face the Wings at Wings Stadium at 7:30 pm. The Generals close out their weekend back at Perani Arena and Event Center when they host the Port Huron Icehawks at 7:30 pm.

Group tickets for 15 or more for Generals games can be purchased by calling the Generals Corporate Office at (810) 742-9422.
