
Generals introduce team to start 2004-2005 season

FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals of the United Hockey League are ready to kick off the 2004-2005 campaign as Vice President/Head Coach, Robbie S. Nichols has assembled his team after a tremendous training camp. The organization is proud to introduce the opening night roster as the Generals host Muskegon in the regular season home opener on Friday, October 15, 2004 at Perani Arena at 7:35 p.m.
This season's club consists of six veterans and five rookies combined with solid players whom are not yet classified as veteran status (playing 280 professional games) but bring the talent and leadership to make the Generals a solid club at the start of this season.
"We are very excited about the players we have in the line-up," said Vice President & Head Coach, Robbie S. Nichols. "The boys came to camp in great shape and have worked hard. Everyone is really taking this in a business-like manner. Everyone is focused and ready for the start of the 2004-2005 season."
The Flint Generals host Muskegon on Friday. The Quad City Mallards visit here on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 7:35 p.m. Tickets for any and all regular season home games are on sale for $13.00, $11.00 and $9.00 at any TicketMaster location.
