Gems Sign Two Future Ducks

Klamath Falls Gems News Release


The Klamath Falls Gems have signed two new players for the 2014 season. The two new players have both committed to the University of Oregon for the 2014 school year.

Brac Warren is a 6'4" 215 pound right handed pitcher form Montana. He attended Custer County High School where he currently throws a 91 mph Fastball, which he is looking to improve to 95 mph. When he is not pitching Brac plays in the Outfield. Brac has also received two awards which include the 2013 Preseason All-American Honorable Mention and the 2013 #2 Ranked Pitcher in Montana. Both of these awards were given by Perfect Game the world's largest scouting service. Brac's aspirations are to play division I Baseball and work towards playing professionally.

Casey Soltis is a 6'1" 190 pound left hander who play's outfield, first base, and pitcher. Casey is from Livermore, Ca where in his junior year he batted .361 with 21 runs scored, 18 RBI and 2 Home Runs. Casey bats and throws left handed as well as displaying an excellent glove in the Outfield. Casey was named 2013 Perfect Game Underclass High Honorable Mention.
