The Gems are looking forward to the new talent that we have coming this season. This season looks to be a great one. Slade Heggen

Slade Heggen is a High school senior that has committed to the University of Oregon. In Slade's junior year he played catcher for Loyola Sacred Heart High school and American Legion Missoula Mavericks. He also plays outfield but what make Slade stand out above the others is his on base percentage of .529 in his 2013 season along with 12 triple in 68 outing. Slade has also received 2013 Perfect Game's High Honorable Mention All American.

y r494iMJ0S2FaVffHlaIT2E0oCxTX8wAustin Hagy a senior from Rider High school is and all round player, playing primarily as a pitcher for his high school he also plays First base, third base, out Field and catches. This gives him a great opportunity to play in many of the Gems Games. As a Pitch Austin had a 1.63 ERA in 99 innings pitched and stuck out 121 batters to the 17 walks that he had. Austin was named to the Texas sports writers' associations Class 4A First team as a Pitch. He also played for the Ronin Baseball Club of North Dallas which showcases talent to achieve their goals of moving toward college or professional baseball. In the Fall Austin will be attending Murry State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
