Klamath Falls Gems News Release
KLAMATH FALLS, OR - The Klamath Falls Gems today announced the addition of online ticketing as an option for fans to attend games at Historic Kiger Stadium. The Gems have teamed with EZ Ticket Live to allow fans to purchase and print tickets from home.
Tickets can be purchased at the Gems' Web site, www.klamathfallsgems.com, by clicking the ¬ËBuy Tickets Now' icon. Purchased tickets can be printed at home and used at Kiger Stadium entry gates.
"This is a great step forward for the Gems and our fans," General Manager Chuck Heeman said. "Being able to bypass ticket lines is a good thing for everyone and a great chance to get tickets ahead of time in case of a sellout, as Opening Night will surely be. We've made it very easy to purchase tickets online and we encourage our fans to check it out."
Online ticketing is now available at www.klamathfallsgems.com. The Gems anticipate Opening Night, June 3, to be a complete sellout by May 15, with more than a third of available tickets already sold for that date.
The Gems are members of the West Coast League, a nine-team professional style wood-bat summer college league. The WCL features pro prospects from major conferences across the country. More than 100 WCL alums are playing affiliated professional baseball this season, and 11 ex-WCL stars have played in the Major Leagues this season.
